Technology in S1N

We have been going to the computer room and doing Coding lessons with Miss Pearson. During our Coding lessons, we have been using Scratch Junior on the iPads to make characters move on the screen using basic coding skills.

We have also been learning about the hardware of the computers and how to turn on and shut down computers safely. We have learnt how to open programs and we have been experimenting with the program Paint.

When asked what their favourite part of Digital Technologies has been so far, some students said:-

Hamish – I liked changing the colours of the cat and changing the speed the cat walked in Scratch Junior.

Jonathan – I liked the different varieties of characters, colours and backgrounds in Scratch Junior.
