Week 7 in S2L

On Tuesday we celebrated Cultural Diversity Day. We all got to try foods and flavours from all over the world. Students across the school made food donations for everyone to try. The day got even better after recess when we attended a Cultural Diversity Dance incursion with Christine. She told us a story of the tarantula from Italy and we learnt a dance to help tell the story. Jason was selected to be the tarantula and Mariam acted out the wife character. It was so much fun. We also got to learn a Bollywood dance as well as some hip hop.

This week we participated in our final Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden lesson for the year. We made a delicious Silverbeet and Cheese Pide. We have loved participating in this program in 2019 and can’t wait to start back again in 2020!
